Reservations - good or bad? INDIA 's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru has anticipated that within 30 years india would have no need of reservations as there would be no backward castes and government would bring education to every common man. But this isn't the scenario now... Politicians do not strive to remove the reservations but instead they promise public that they would increase them. They intentionally or non-intentionally say that they would not help in the up liftment of the backward societies but drag them into abyss. People in INDIA fail to understand that increase in reservation means that there is no development in the country. Even after 60 years of independence, people still need reservations. WHY?
